Air Design serves the lower peninsula of Michigan. Its corporate headquarters is located in Southfield, MI and has over 10,000 SQ FT of office and warehouse space.

Air Design Inc. provides both custom built equipment for specific projects as well as standard stock equipment. Our knowledgeable sales associates provide design assistance, site surveys, engineering presentations and fast friendly service to our customers.

Russell R. McCoy, President
Russell McCoy has a BSEE degree from Lawrence Technological University, is a Michigan licensed Professional Engineer, and has worked with Air Design since its inception.
Peter A. McCoy, Vice President
Peter McCoy has sixteen years of industrial and commercial HVAC sales experience.

Together with Russ and Pete, a team of professionals have worked to make Air Design a strong presence in the HVAC world representing a broad line of quality HVAC products (check out the “Product” section of this site for further information).

Air Design was founded in 1985 by Allen A. McCoy of Southfield, Michigan. The Company began with a few dedicated employees and Mr. McCoy’s 30 years of industrial ventilation experience. Initially, Air Design served the industrial market with equipment provided to the automobile manufacturers for paint systems, plant heating systems, and industrial ventilation. Now, 20 years later, Air Design still serves its first customers yet has expanded into many other market segments.
